Connect Your Smart TV to Wi-Fi
The exact menu names vary between TV brands, but the general process is similar.
- Turn on your Smart TV.
- Open the TV’s Settings menu.
- Find Network or Internet Connection.
- Select Wi-Fi or Wireless Network.
- Choose your home Wi-Fi network.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password.
- Select Connect.
After a few moments, the TV should connect to your wireless network.
What If Your Wi-Fi Network Does Not Appear?
If your network is missing from the list, try restarting your router and Smart TV.

Smart TV Says “Connected” but Has No Internet
If the TV connects to Wi-Fi but apps cannot access the internet, restart both the router and TV.
You can also check whether the internet works on another phone, computer, or streaming device connected to the same network.
Improve Smart TV Wi-Fi Performance
For better streaming performance, place your router in an open location and avoid unnecessary obstacles between the router and TV.
If your router supports multiple Wi-Fi bands, selecting the appropriate network can also improve performance depending on the distance between the TV and router.
